Sibling Discounts

For families enrolling more than one student, we offer a sibling discount. Parents pay full price for one child's classes, and receive discounts off the monthly tuition and workshop tuition cost of each additional child.

Payment Policy

Tuition is collected for each calendar month for ongoing weekly classes. Tuition is due by the first of each month. Please note: there is a $10.00 late fee for payments made after the 10th of the month.

Tuition for our multi-week series and workshops is due in full upon enrollment, before the class begins.

We accept credit card, cash or check payments. Please make checks payable to Yes Design Shop, and include student name(s) and class in the memo. There is a $25.00 returned check charge for any checks returned by the bank.

4 Weekly Classes per Month

For all ongoing weekly classes, monthly tuition includes four weekly classes per month. On months where there are 5 weeks, students will receive reminders that classes will not be offered on the fifth week, unless it is a scheduled makeup class. 

Missed Class & Class Makeup Policy

Students get a makeup for any missed class. Makeup classes never expire. If there is not an available makeup class for the exact class the student signed up for, they may use their makeup in another age-appropriate class, or at Open Studio time. Simply contact us to schedule a makeup class. 

Accumulated makeup classes can't be used as a substitute for monthly tuition payments.

Please notify us prior to the 1st of the month if you plan on missing a month of ongoing classes, or if you plan on dropping an ongoing class, in order to avoid billing for that month. If you plan on missing two or more weeks of ongoing classes in any one month, you can notify us before the 1st of that month in order to receive a 1/2 month discount. We don't prorate monthly tuition for individual missed classes.

If you attend classes at a location where only one age-appropriate class is offered per week, there will be scheduled makeup classes whenever a class falls on the fifth week of the month (see 4 weekly classes per month, above).

At this time, we don't offer partial refunds for missed classes that are part of a multi-week series or workshop. However, you're welcome to make up that class in an ongoing weekly class for your age group!

Registration and Materials Fees

Registration Fee

There is an annual registration fee of $25 for the first student per family, and $15 for each subsequent child. The registration fee must be paid upon enrolling, and then annually.

Materials Fee

Materials fees are included in the costs of classes. However, if a student loses or damages the materials that were provided, they may need to pay for additional materials. On some occasions, there may be projects that involve costly materials which might require additional materials fees. This is rare, and we will always notify you in advance.

We understand that ideas are free but arts supplies are not, so we always strive to keep all the materials costs low for our families!
