Yes Creative Lab is an imaginative art school for kids. This is a place to be inspired, to have ideas, to make art. This is a place for creating and making, for learning, taking chances, and self-expression. And it’s a place where we say Yes: yes to imagination, to big ideas, to trying something new.

We love art and design, and we want to share that passion with our students. We hope you will join us, so that we can imagine, create, design, and make art together.

The Big Idea

At Yes Creative Lab, we don’t just teach steps for copying pretty pictures (although we always walk our students through new techniques step-by-step!). We encourage our students to think and stretch the boundaries of their creativity.

Because it all starts with an idea ...

That’s why we incorporate Big IDEA warm-ups into our classes. First, we help our students think creatively by giving prompts, showing them possibilities through historical and contemporary art examples, and fueling their imagination. Then we help them to express that imagination with exciting art and design projects.

This helps our students to push themselves as creative thinkers, as well as visual artists.
